Home Gym
Home gym buying guides
Building a home gym usually means a few big purchases: a rack, a barbell and plates, and maybe a cardio machine. Getting the dimensions, weight capacity and floor protection right the first time saves returns and freight charges on very heavy boxes.
Guides coming soon. We haven't published any home gym guides yet. We'd rather show you an empty shelf than filler. When we do, they'll follow the same editorial policy as our generator guides: specs from manufacturers, sources linked, no fake testing claims.
What we plan to cover
- Power racks and half racks: footprint, height and attachments
- Barbells and plates: what the specs mean
- Treadmills, bikes and rowers worth the floor space
- Flooring and ceiling-height checks before you order
Safety note: Check your ceiling height and floor load before ordering a rack or heavy cardio machine, and anchor equipment as the manufacturer instructs.
